Street Children in Kano (Nigeria)

As part of our organization's mission to constantly develop our technical capacities, Mindset spearheaded a collaboration with NORC at the University of Chicago and Bayero University to pilot a study on street children studying, living, and working in Kano, Nigeria.

The study aims to better understand this population's background, daily routines, and the challenges they face on the street. Through the innovative application of intercept sampling, Mindset and its study partners contribute to bridging this gap data. This pilot study could be expanded to other areas of Nigeria and even globally, serving as a tool to understand and devise solutions to measuring this elusive and transient population.
