Dubai Cultural Diplomacy Program

The Dubai Cultural Diplomacy Program provided Dubai Culture, an authority under the Government of Dubai, with an assessment of the Emirates’ soft power locally, regionally and globally, as well as its direct and indirect impact on tourism.

From mid-2017 to the end of 2018, Mindset assisted these efforts through several research activities, designing and deploying a mixed-methodology - combining quantitative, qualitative and digital insights research - to gather data on how Dubai is viewed from a cultural perspective and provide actionable insights to Dubai Culture. Mindset consolidated and analyzed extracted data and insights and delivered three thematic case studies: 1) “Dubai - From a Business to a Cultural Hub”; 2) “Tolerance and Emirati Heritage”; and 3) “The Arabic Language – Leveraging This Powerful Cultural Exchange Tool in Dubai".
