Research on People with Disabilities in Saudi Arabia

Mindset was subcontracted to be the research partner of the Authority of Persons with Disabilities, conducting social research around the topics of disability and people with disabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The scope of work included the following: the selection of the research topics around disability; the design of full research modules using a comprehensive and inclusive approach; data collection and analysis; and the development of research reports. In total, six field surveys were conducted, four desk research studies were performed, and eight research papers were developed. The topics studied related to health and wellbeing, assessing healthcare access of people with disabilities and the impact of COVID-19, utilizing a sample of over 500 respondents.
