Since co-founding Mindset in 2010 and stepping into the role of Managing Director in 2012, Rana has been a driving force behind the firm’s growth and its ability to deliver client-focused solutions to the highest standards.
With over 17 years of experience, Rana specializes in social research, development, and project management, with a focus on humanitarian response, protection, and gender issues. She has led numerous large-scale research and consulting projects, both nationally and internationally, across sectors such as child protection, education, health, livelihoods, social protection, and refugee assistance. She has also co-authored several research reports and has successfully mobilized operations in challenging and complex environments, including conflict-affected areas and hard-to-reach populations in countries like Yemen, Nigeria, Ukraine, and Jordan.
Rana holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Jordan and a Master’s degree in Gender Studies with a focus on the Middle East from the University of London - School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Her academic foundation and extensive professional experience equip her to manage the operational and technical demands of large-scale research and development initiatives with precision and expertise.
