Food Security & Nutrition
Mindset has extensive experience in the food security and nutrition sectors in Jordan and Yemen. We have been working on food-related issues since 2018, by conducting research in Jordan on adolescents' livelihoods including nutrition practices. Since then, we have expanded our experience with multiple UN agencies and the World Bank on projects tackling food and nutrition challenges faced by vulnerable communities such as refugees, children, and youth in Jordan and Yemen. In 2021, Mindset became Tufts University's local partner to manage the USAID-funded Jordan Nutrition Innovation Lab (JNIL). Our team supports the improvement of the nutritional status of pregnant and lactating women as well as children under the age of two in Jordan, by bringing deep skills in rigorous research and evaluation design, development, and management strategy for the successful implementation of nutrition-focused research.
Thanks to our strong experience in the food security and nutrition sectors in the Middle East, we are able to bring insightful knowledge and research skills to other fragile contexts. Mindset is committed to improving individual and collective well-being by addressing food-related challenges, in order to achieve sustainable economic growth and reduce poverty globally.
