Displacement & Migration
Mindset has been working for almost a decade on displacement and migration in Jordan, Lebanon, and Ukraine. We have developed a strong experience in conducting research with vulnerable communities such as refugees living in camps or host communities and displaced populations, as well as Jordanian migrants living in the Gulf; thus giving us the knowledge and skills to tackle migration-related issues in sensitive contexts. In Jordan, we worked with several UN agencies on displacement-related projects including with UNHCR. Since 2016, we have been conducting monthly home visits to refugee households, in order to support UNHCR's cash assistance program for refugees. We have also performed several post-distribution monitoring assignments and vulnerability assessments for UNHCR in Jordan. In Lebanon, our team supported UN Women in understanding the gendered impact of displacement on Syrian women and girls refugees. Our experience also includes working in Ukraine with UN agencies to support internally displaced people affected by the war.
We are proud to say that Mindset has participated in more than 20 projects addressing the challenges faced by vulnerable communities afflicted by displacement and forced migration, thus supporting various efforts and initiatives aiming at providing assistance and protection to refugees and internally displaced people.
